Netflix is FINALLY entering the space where they are having people within the Netflix Reality Universe compete in a “Challenge-like” atmosphere among one another. Battle Camp has arrived, and cast members from shows like Too Hot to Handle to Love is Blind to The Circle are battling to win $250,000. I had the pleasure of catching up with Too Hot to Handle’s Louis Russell and Cheer’s Gabi Butler to talk about their time on the show.
What is Battle Camp?
In Battle Camp, the greatest stars from across Netflix’s broad slate of reality and doc-series return to face the ultimate physical and mental competition, where a giant spinning wheel randomly decides who stays and who goes. To keep your name off that wheel, our returning fan favorites need to be unbeatable in high-octane challenges, unbreakable in grueling punishments and, last but certainly not least, unhateable in camp, as everyone has a vote. The player who achieves all three, becomes the ultimate Netflix reality competitor and takes home the $250,000 prize.
Too Hot to Handle’s Louis Russell and Cheer’s Gabi Butler talk Battle Camp
Gabi Butler will forever have her place in Netflix Reality History as becoming the first victim of having only one name on the wheel and being eliminated. It was a wild turn of events that made everyone realize that the wheel was serious business. Louis has wooed us in the past with his two turns on Too Hot to Handle, but showed quite a competitive side in his time on Battle Camp. Although he wasn’t victorious, you saw an incredible competitor nonetheless. This was a great chat with these two about their time on the show.
All ten episodes of Battle Camp are streaming on Netflix.
