Netflix is FINALLY entering the space where they are having people within the Netflix Reality Universe compete in a “Challenge-like” atmosphere among one another. Battle Camp has arrived, and cast members from shows like Too Hot to Handle to Love is Blind to The Circle are battling to win $250,000. I had the pleasure of catching up with Selling the OC’s Polly Brindle and Gio Helou to talk about their time on the show.
What is Battle Camp?
In Battle Camp, the greatest stars from across Netflix’s broad slate of reality and doc-series return to face the ultimate physical and mental competition, where a giant spinning wheel randomly decides who stays and who goes. To keep your name off that wheel, our returning fan favorites need to be unbeatable in high-octane challenges, unbreakable in grueling punishments and, last but certainly not least, unhateable in camp, as everyone has a vote. The player who achieves all three, becomes the ultimate Netflix reality competitor and takes home the $250,000 prize.
Selling the OC’s Polly Brindle & Gio Helou talk Battle Camp
Gio found himself amid the drama with his battle with the Battle Camp resident villain Trey (Squid Game: The Challenge). While Polly found herself almost flying under the radar until the solo competition put her on the map. The duo discussed both what it was like to win early on and how that win helped but also hurt Polly eventually. This was a great chat with these two about their time on the show.
All ten episodes of Battle Camp are streaming on Netflix.
