Netflix is FINALLY entering the space where they are having people within the Netflix Reality Universe compete in a “Challenge-like” atmosphere among one another. Battle Camp has arrived, and cast members from shows like Too Hot to Handle to Love is Blind to The Circle are battling to win $250,000. I had the pleasure of catching up with Squid Game: The Challenge Trey Plutnicki & Lorenzo Nobilio to talk about their time on the show.
What is Battle Camp?
In Battle Camp, the greatest stars from across Netflix’s broad slate of reality and doc-series return to face the ultimate physical and mental competition, where a giant spinning wheel randomly decides who stays and who goes. To keep your name off that wheel, our returning fan favorites need to be unbeatable in high-octane challenges, unbreakable in grueling punishments and, last but certainly not least, unhateable in camp, as everyone has a vote. The player who achieves all three, becomes the ultimate Netflix reality competitor and takes home the $250,000 prize.
Squid Game: The Challenge Trey Plutnicki & Lorenzo Nobilio talk Battle Camp
If you had placed bets on who would’ve been one of the biggest villains of Battle Camp, my money would’ve been on Lorenzo. However, as each episode progressed, we witnessed Trey become that guy. Although he had many people coming for his head, he would continue to rise to the occasion and not end up eliminated. On the flip side, Lorenzo walked into the house on day one and walked out on the final day, crowned the first-ever winner of Battle Camp. This was a great chat with these two about their time on the show.
All ten episodes of Battle Camp are streaming on Netflix.
