Rachel Recchia broke onto the reality TV scene in September 2021, where she was a contestant on season 26 of The Bachelor. During that season, she ended up being a co-runner-up with Gabby Windey after Clayton Echard spurned her to pursue fellow cast member Susie Evans. She was later announced as The Bachelorette and got engaged, only to find out she had been cheated on, leading to her appearing on season 9 of Bachelor in Paradise. Recchia made a comeback this year, jumping into the Netflix Reality Universe and appearing on Perfect Match Season 3. As a result, she jumped on fellow castmate Amber Desiree’s ‘What’s the Reality’ to break down her time on the show.

During her time on Perfect Match, Recchia relived a dramatic experience with Clayton Echard again as he convinced her to match up with him only for the following day to break it off to follow his intuition. Thankfully, Recchia got another shot where she was paired with Scott. But it was in the second batch of Perfect Match where we saw Recchia connect with Ray Gantt from Love Island USA. The duo not only coupled up, but they also won a competition together. The duo shared a cute dynamic and were cute together.
In watching the show, it was easy to root for Recchia because of her fun and vibrant personality. I took a listen to Rachel Recchia’s appearance on ‘What’s the Reality,’ and it only comes off even better. The banter between her and AD is fantastic. I share with you some of the biggest highlights of the episode, and make sure you check out the interview for yourself.

Key Highlights from Rachel Recchia on ‘What’s the Reality’
Rachel on the date with Freddie: Rachel believes there could’ve been potential between the two. She gets comments and DMs about fans shipping the two all the time. She did say on the date she asked him if he was open, and Freddie said, Nope.
Rachel on Clayton being in the house: Freddie told Rachel on the date that Clayton was in the house. Apparently, the conversation was much longer than we saw on TV. She didn’t think Clayton would be on Perfect Match. AD said Clayton was committed to using the show for redemption, but how things played out was similar to how it unfolded on The Bachelor. She said the reason she said yes to Clayton was that she never got closure on their relationship and the ‘what if’ factor. Also, Rachel didn’t know he wanted to match with Sandy or that he wanted to put himself on a date ahead of the boardroom.
What does Clayton feel he isn’t compatible with Rachel?: The reason Clayton feels that he and Rachel aren’t compatible is because she isn’t a “gym girlie.” He wants someone to lift weights and work out with, and she is never going to be that. (Side note: this is the most absurd thing I’ve ever heard in my life. Rachel is a BADDIE.) Apparently, Clayton unfollowed her, and he claims he didn’t mean to and says he isn’t happy with his edit.
Rachel on Scott: She said she liked Scott and thought they would have some fun. At the time, she was shocked that Scott matched with Juliette.
Why she chose Ray over Carrington: She said Carrington had a player vibe (clarifies that he isn’t really), and Ray seemed like a sweetie.
Rachel and AD on the Mixer: They were shocked by how things played out at the mixer. AD said she thought all the men were single because of the way they had acted. She also touched on Daniel licking Olivia’s thigh, and both stated that the fighting between Lucy and Daniel happened a lot off-camera. AD felt like she needed to tell the ladies about what happened because she felt bad. Rachel said she thought it should’ve been a bigger deal, but there were only a few days left.
