Ashley and Ricky had the chance to sit down with two cast members of Married at First Sight Season 19, Brittany and Meghann. The duo both got married, said yes on decision day, but after the reunion, they walked away single. We explored their relationship with Derek and Will, what it was like building those connections, and even what went wrong.

What is Married at First Sight?
The cart comes way before the horse in the reality series “Married at First Sight.” Based on a hit Danish format, “Married…” features people who agree to participate in an extreme experiment: Each covenants legal marriage with a complete stranger. Specialists — including a spiritualist, a relationship coach and a sociologist — use scientific matchmaking methods to determine each couple, who will not have met or had contact with each other until the wedding day. The series then documents the relationships, including honeymoons and other relatable events of married life. After several weeks, each couple must decide whether to remain together or go their individual ways.
Where can you watch Married at First Sight?
Season 19 was the first season to debut on Peacock. You can watch the entire 19th season, set in Austin, Texas, on Peacock, including one of the best reunions in show (and reality TV) history.
Who were Brittany and Meghann married to on the show?
Brittany got married to Will. The couple had some highs and lows throughout the season as they tried to adapt to both of their personalities and how they saw relationships. This led to decision day, where Will told Brittany he was going to say no, but ultimately, after sitting down with the experts, they both decided to stay married. The relationship didn’t last much after that, and it was revealed during the reunion that they split up shortly after the show.
Meghann was married to Derek. These two started off rocky, and it didn’t seem like they would make it very far. However, after finding out she was pregnant, the couple did a complete 180. The two seemed thick as thieves and started to really see one another in the same light. On decision day, Meghann and Derek both said yes, and the rest was history. But during the reunion, we found out that Meghann had a miscarriage, and the aftermath wasn’t kind to either of them. Derek ended the relationship months later.
