A new singing competition show has debuted on CBS called The Road. The series sees 12 artists taking the stage to win the grand prize of a recording contract, $250,000, and a slot on the Mane Stage at Stagecoach Country Music Festival. Each week, follow along as Keith Urban and Blake Shelton, along with the crowd, vote to see who goes home. I will be recapping everything that went down, including my favorite performance, and who went home.
The Road Episode 8 Synopsis
In The Road Episode 8, the final six artists travel to Memphis for a charity performance at St. Jude Children’s Hospital, where the audience vote helps determine who will advance to Nashville. The episode showcases the competition’s growing stakes as the musicians prepare for the final concert, with Little Big Town’s Karen Fairchild appearing as a guest in the audience.
What contestants remain on The Road?
Adam Sanders, Billie Jo Jones, Britnee Kellogg, Cassidy Daniels, Channing Wilson, and Cody Hibbard.

What goes down in episode 8?
The musicians had to perform two songs for the crowd in Memphis. Of course, with no eliminations last week, the pressure was on with two people heading home tonight.
My favorite performances: Adam and Cassidy
